Get Explode
The Get Explode project was founded in 2008, when two professional musicians, Laco Kováč and Marián Čurko, started experimenting with all sorts of synthesizers and other electronic and acoustic instruments in Marián's home studio.
The result of this early experiment was 18 electronic vocal songs.Their music isn't strictly related to one genre, but has a character of dance music styles, electro-punk style and drum'n'bass.
When the guys are playing live they are literally covered in synthesizers, groove boxes, samplers or drum machines, which are always combined with live percussions and vocals. Live shows are their main strength, where they can really show off their energy in an impressive concert.
Marián Čurko: vocals, keyboards, effects, production
Marián Čurko studied film direction at VSMU in Bratislava, Slovakia. He is in music circles known for his composing for key signatures for TV and radio channels, music for TV adverts and programmes (TV noviny Markíza, SOS, Pošta pre teba, Mafstory, Panelák, Partička, Profesionáli, Dievča za Milión, Rádio Viva, Miliónový Tanec, atď...).
Laco Kováč: vocals, drums and percussions , production
Laco Kováč has been playing the drums since he was 5 years old and now is one of the most recognized drummers on the current Slovak music scene. He regurarly performs and collaborates with top class artists such as Katarína Knechtová, Petr Janda - Olympic, Janek Ledecký, Peter Nagy, Robo Grigorov, Lavagance, Love 4 Money, Elán, Ricky Bailey - Delegation and many more. Hei s also well known as DJ - Energy-X.
